Sydney's Bankstown Airport to become the new home of Aviatex - Australia’s largest annual general aviation trade show and careers exposition

SYDNEY, NEW SOUTH WALES, AUSTRALIA, January 24, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Bright Events Pty Ltd and Sydney Metro Airports Corporation have announced the commencement of an exciting partnership which will see Aviatex – Aviation Exposition & Careers Showcase relocated to Bankstown Airport in November 2018.

Aviatex Expo is the premier trade show in the Australian market for general aviation products and services, and was previously held in conjunction with the Wings Over Illawarra Airshow in Wollongong. The strategic relocation to Bankstown, in the heart of Australia’s largest city, will give greater scope to take in the education and training sectors covering all areas of the aviation industry, which is a key focus for the airport going forward.

School leavers in particular will be actively encouraged to attend the expo to sample a wide range of potential career streams on offer, ranging from flight training to engineering, management to air traffic control, light aircraft to airlines, civil and military.

This year's event will be held over three days between November 15 and 17, and is open to the general public. General admission tickets are $10 each, and can be purchased online or at the gate.
