Lufkin’s Ashby finishes 5th in 800 at Oregon Open

EUGENE, Ore. (KTRE) - Former Lufkin Panther Grant Ashby recorded a second-straight personal best and finished fifth in the 800m at the Oregon Open over the weekend.
The sophomore ran a 1:49.29, less than two seconds behind his Aggie teammate, who won the race.
The Aggies split travel as they head to the Penn Relays, April 24-26 and the J. Fred Duckett Twilight April 26.
